ABOUT

“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”
-Mark Twain

I’M LINDA CHEUNG.
I’m a content creator, amateur cook, and aspiring marketing & advertising professional.

I was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley located in southern California and couldn’t imagine growing up anywhere else. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine in March 2016 and received my bachelor’s degree in Business Economics. I am still currently residing in Orange County.

WHY MARKETING & ADVERTISING?
I’d like to consider myself a tech savvy person. I taught myself the basics of HTML, Photoshop, and video editing when I was in middle school and have incorporated those skills in both personal and professional environments. My personal use of social media is what actually sparked my interest in advertising, digital marketing, and graphic design.

HOBBIES? INTERESTS? PASSIONS?

Aside from working in front of a computer screen, I’ve had many different hobbies since I was young. From piano to dance to writing, my passions and interests were always geared towards music, art, or basically anything appealing to my eyes and ears. My hobbies always involved being able to have the creative freedom to design and create something with my own originality. The creativity and passion used in marketing is what originally drew me into the field.

My other hobbies include reading, filming and editing videos for my YouTube, crafting, and blogging. I’ve recently taken a new interest in cooking and working out. I also love the outdoors, so I enjoy exploring new cities and states when I get the opportunity.

WHAT ARE YOU UP TO NOW?
I’m currently finishing the process of obtaining a certification in general marketing at Orange Coast College. I am also looking for a full time or part time employment opportunity to expand my knowledge in the advertising and marketing fields. I know that my interests, passions, and hard work will help shape my career path in the future.

My career will be a journey, not a destination. My dreams will become reality.
