Meal Prep: Lettuce Turkey Wraps

I’m ready for week 9! The turkey lettuce wraps are inspired by old recipes. I’m trying to keep similar recipes around along with incorporating new ways to eat healthy food so I’m not to uncomfortable with my meals. Cheers!

Ingredients (7-8 servings):
– 2 packages ground turkey breast
– 1 bunch romaine lettuce
– 1 white onion, sliced
– 3 stalks green onion
– 6 cloves minced garlic
– 3 tbsp sesame oil
– 5 tbsp soy sauce
– 2 tbsp oyster sauce
– Pepper to taste

Instructions:
– Rinse and cut romaine lettuce to preferred size (let it sit out to dry)
– Heat up pan to medium-high
– Add sesame oil, garlic, and white onion to pan
– Once fragrant, add ground turkey
– Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and pepper to taste
– Mix around consecutively until turkey is completely cooked
– Add green onion and mix thoroughly
– Serve fresh or seal it and refrigerate for the week

*Tip: To keep your lettuce fresh, let them air dry. If you don’t have the time to let them air dry completely, surround your sealed container with paper towels so it absorbs any moisture that gets in. Seal the container well to avoid moisture from getting in.
